Independent Film
June 3rd, 2008As many of you know I have been working as an Executive Producer on a TV Drama Mini-Series, “Yellow Cry”. It is a project with a lot of heart focusing on awareness of teenage Prostitution Trafficking in the US - even closer to home - Georgia being Number 13 in this vile problem. Awareness is key but also “Yellow Cry” is meant to be a family drama that hopes to provoke conversation among teens and any adult they trust about a friend or themselves. This project has a diverse group of characters and is created and written by one of the most talented Playwright’s of all time, Towonda Kilpatrick. We have been working long days and are nearing the end of production of the Episode 3 and then we take to market. It is all very exciting but mostly an enormous challenge I stand proud to have before me. I have truly stretched myself above and beyond my comfort zone to take on many production roles to fill in the gap - as we all do with independents. Once production is complete I will return to the Mojo blog. Your patience is appreciated and I am looking forward to hearing from each of you.
